Grant Funding Awarded

Last week, the #ETFD was awarded a $10,000 grant from Pennsylvania Skill Games. This grant will be used to upgrade and maintain our basic life support emergency medical equipment across all of our licensed QRS units. Doing so, will help to standardize the equipment layout to provide uniformity regardless of which station the equipment is assigned to.
Thank you to Administrative Officer Bill Brown for your work to secure this grant funding.

Just before 10pm last night, the structure assignment was transmitted for multiple calls of a working structure fire on Sahara Street in the #Blythedale section of Elizabeth Township. 140AST3 (Harn) was first to arrive and confirmed the working fire dispatch in a vacant structure.

Today, your #ETFD members completed the final day of a 16-hour Pump Operations 1 course held here in Elizabeth Township. This was a great refresher for experienced pump operators, and a great learning experience for new (or aspiring) drivers.
